Rehabilitation Programs

At Eastern Rehabilitation Inc. we focus on successful return to work by restoring functional capacity to pre-injury status. Our Occupational Rehabilitation Programs are designed to accomplish this goal by providing effective and timely injury management, distinctively suited to our client needs.

Through collaboration with stakeholder groups we have developed the Outcome Tracking System, a system that ensures specific occupational rehabilitation programs are properly matched to each of our client populations.

Research has identified that there are various barriers to injury recovery and return to work. These barriers, known as flags, have enormous impact on the outcomes of rehabilitation programs. Increased flags indicate a more complex case that requires an enhanced injury management program.

We have produced an assessment and treatment triage that reflects the realities of the injured populations that we care for. This triage is called our Tier System. Our Tier System provides 3 streams of injury management which are differentiated by complexity of assessment and treatment. The programs are individually suited for each client to ensure safe functioning and proper therapy to meet rehabilitation goals.

Because these Occupational Rehabilitation Programs are client centered, all of our stakeholders have benefited enormously. The employee receives clear guidance and proven therapeutic strategies. The employer benefits from the reduction of lost time from their injured employee. The paying party will benefit from optimal management by our staff within each client’s program.
